Welcome to the inaugural Wheel Song Hurdy Gurdy Festival! We are thrilled to have you join us for this exciting three-day celebration, presented by renowned Hurdy Gurdy players Mary Vanhoozer and Taryn Spink. The classes will have a twofold focus on Renaissance and French Balfolk music for the Hurdy Gurdy and performance practices, offering an immersive experience for players of all skill levels. The festival includes a faculty recital, classes and lectures, and concludes with a recorded group performance where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their learning. We can’t wait to share this unique musical experience with you and create lasting memories together!
